TUNING YOUR UKULELE

Even though your ukulele was freshly tuned before it was dropped off at your house, your strings may be out of tune by now. Temperature and the amount you play those strings can cause them to fall out of tune. Don't worry! Here is a great website that can help you tune your ukulele. We use Standard Tuning (GCEA). It is important to only turn the pegs a tiny bit at first; it shouldn't take much movement to get them back in tune. If you turn too far, your pitches will be in la-la land and it it will really be out of tune. (Note: You may need to enable the microphone on your laptop to use the microphone tuning feature)

If you still need help, email me! We can set up a time to Zoom on video chat. I would be happy to help you get your uke back in tune in a jiffy! Plus, I would love to see you again, I miss ya'll!
