AOK@CMDS steps outside the boundaries of a traditional after-school program and reaches out to all students on the Christ Methodist Day School campus.
Offering a wide variety of enrichment classes designed to engage students creatively, academically, socially, and physically, AOK@CMDS is intended to be an enjoyable and constructive use of their time, while providing parents with a safe and convenient childcare option.
Children in 2K–6th Grade enjoy snacks, free time and planned age-appropriate activities, which include crafts, board games, outside/gymnasium play, and organized games. Students have the opportunity to work on their homework at the beginning of after care. They can receive help from their counselor in a quiet environment.
After-School Care is available each afternoon school is in session, from dismissal time to 5:45 p.m. AOK@CMDS is closed on Early Dismissal days and days that CMDS is closed. Participants must register online and pay a non-refundable registration fee of $60 per child. If you would like more information, please see our Policies and Procedures.
Policies & Procedures
Before and After School Care
Hours of Operation: After-School Care is available from afternoon dismissal until 5:45 p.m. (School begins each day at 8 a.m. and students can be dropped off as early as 7:45 a.m. For those families with a significant need, care is available beginning at 7:30 a.m. with a paid Unlimited Morning Care registration fee. (Participants must email AOK@CMDS Director Amanda Bardos individually and detail your circumstances to receive approval for Morning Care use.)
Registration: Before a student may attend our before or after-school program, on a five-day, three-day, or drop-in basis, online registration and a $60 non-refundable registration fee is required.
Late Pick-Up Fees: Parents will be charged a late fee of $25 for any pickup after 5:45 p.m. At 5:55 p.m., parents will be charged $5 per minute. Any child who is picked up late a total of three times may have their AOK@CMDS care suspended for a period of time.
Cancellation: The $60 registration fee is non-refundable. If you are on the five-day or three-day monthly program and wish to discontinue the plan, please notify the AOK@CMDS Director via email. Termination from the monthly program will take effect on the first day of the month following the month in which you made the request. Monthly rates are not prorated.
Discipline Policy
AOK@CMDS follows the discipline policy of Christ Methodist Day School. Students are expected to adhere to the policies and procedures of CMDS (as outlined in the school handbook). CMDS reserves the right to dismiss from the AOK@CMDS program any student whose behavior poses a discipline problem. No refunds will be issued for students who are asked to withdraw.
Early Dismissal Days
On days when school dismisses early, AOK@CMDS does not offer care. The program also is closed on any day that CMDS is closed. Often the Athletics Ministry of Christ Church offers child care for PK-6th graders on school holidays.
Enrichment Classes
Registration: Participants must register and pay for enrichment classes online. If a child does not need AOK After-School Care but would like to participate in the Enrichment Classes, a separate registration fee is not required. Many classes fill up, so we encourage you to enroll early to ensure a space. Classes with insufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation with a full refund.
Full refunds for AOK Enrichment Classes are available for withdrawals prior to the class registration deadline. Except in those cases of illness or emergency reported to AOK before the start of an activity, refunds will not be given once the activity begins. No refunds will be issued for children who choose not to attend.
Late Carpool Pick Up Fees
For the safety and security of our students, children left on campus after school carpool has ended, will be escorted to the AOK after-school program. Parents will be charged $20, which is the daily drop-in rate for AOK after-school care.
Pick Up Authorization
Only authorized adults designated in the child’s UltraCamp account will be permitted to pick up children from AOK. If someone not listed on the child’s UltraCamp account is scheduled to pick up, the director of AOK must be notified in advance of the change. The parent or authorized adult to whom the child is being released text the AOK number and show proof of identification.
Billing and Payments
Participants are billed for all care at the end of each month. Payments are only made through the AOK@CMDS online payment system. Registration for the program and/or enrichment classes are not accepted without the appropriate payment. Delinquent payments are subject to late fees.

Three-Day Plan: $190/month (billable and payable through UltraCamp)
Five-Day Plan: $225/month (billable and payable through UltraCamp)
Daily Drop-in Rates (2K-6th): $20
Unlimited Before Care: $60 registration fee (billable and payable through UltraCamp). CMDS offers before care for families with a significant need. Families wanting to use before care must contact AOK@CMDS Director Amanda Bardos before registration. CMDS does not charge a monthly fee for before care.
