Recorder Lesson

If you're not getting a good sound, are you:

1. Review notes you have learned in class: E, G (p.1-7). Check your email for the PDF files of the book pages and the fingering chart. Play correct notes and rhythms to:

  • p.7 "Bee Bee Bumblebee,"

  • p.7 "Starlight, Star Bright"

2. Take a break from practicing and watch this weird video of a guy making a recorder out of a sweet potato and an ocarina out of a squash. Then listen as he plays a really yummy arrangement of "Africa" by Toto.
