Quick video with History of Wassily Kandinsky

CREATE:

This is so much fun! Make your own abstract art and hear it come to life! Change colors on your creation, and the sounds change. Have fun!

PLAY ALONG:

Kandinsky didn't write this song, but it kinda sounds like "KANdinsky." I know some of you really enjoy these play-alongs with your siblings. So, enjoy the "Can Can" song.

I MISS YOU! I'd love to know how these music lessons are going for you at home! Feel free to email me. Several of you have sent me videos of your music-making at home and I LOVE it!

TCHAIKOVSKY PLAY ALONGS

Use kitchen utensils, boxes or anything you can find around your house as musical instruments to play along to these songs from the Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky. Pick a shape on the screen to follow, and play your instrument when the bee or mouse conductor bounces on that beat. For an added challenge, pick 2 or more shapes to play! Have fun!

LISTENING ROLLER COASTER VIDEO

Fasten your safety harnesses and watch in awe as the virtual roller coaster takes you for a ride of Tchaikovsky's thrilling "1812 Overture." You might recognize this very famous song; it is often played for the finale of firework shows. This virtual roller coaster was created by the same person who makes the neat Line Rider videos. NOTE: If this roller coaster video makes you motion sick, look away from the screen. The hills and loops can be really intense!

I MISS YOU! I'd love to know how these music lessons are going for you! Feel free to email me. It made me so happy last week to get pictures from some of you who enjoyed playing the Mozart song with your family. You made this music teacher smile! :-)
